Australia plans to dramatically deregulate its energy industry
Deregulation would mean that consumers will become free to choose their electricity and gas retailer, and be able to deal with the one retailer for both electricity and gas services. Most importantly, consumers will have the option to shop around and potentially choose better quality rates for their electricity and gas.
